9 Carat White Gold
White gold is an alloy of pure gold with various additional metals that provide strength, durability and change the colour to a lighter, more silvery appearance. The amount of pure gold is indicated by the carat rating. 9 carat white gold contains 37.5% pure gold. Nickel is typically used in white gold to change the appearance and introduce hardness and resilience.
