  • Sample rings must be returned within one week or we must be notified if longer.
  • The full cost of our free ring sample service will be refunded once the ring(s) are returned to and received by us.
  • Failure to return any or all ring samples, or to produce a valid postal tracking number, will result in a fee being charged at 2/3rd the cost of the equivalent ring in 9ct yellow gold on our website.
  • Any returns or exchanges must be made within the first year of purchase. When returning an item to us, please ensure that it is in good condition and with all original contents. We will then refund you the price or exchange your item, subject to terms and conditions, as well as covering any delivery costs that you would have paid for in the process.
  • Our returns policy does not apply to rings that have been damaged through wear and tear, accidents or misuse. Refunds and exchanges will only be considered for standard items and will not be authorised for bespoke or engraved rings. A standard item is any item available from our website which has not been customised in any way, for example has had precious stones set into it.
  • We furthermore will not refund purchases of more than one ring in cases in which it is evident that the customer was sampling between different products with the intention of returning the other rings.
  • All refunds will be made through the original payment method.
  • Within our promise we offer lifetime services, however some styles of rings can not be resized, so please read this information carefully and be sure of your ring size before purchasing. The best way of determining your size is by using our free ring sizer service.
  • We believe in the quality of our products and will correct any manufacturing faults during the first 12 months. A ring will not be considered to have a manufacturing fault if it shows scratches more quickly than anticipated, with no exceptions. Even the most durable metals may show wear and tear from contact with everyday objects. We strongly advise you to insure all high-value items, especially those with diamonds. We will not replace a dislodged or lost diamond free of charge, unless it happens within the first three months of the date we dispatched the item.
  • The content on our website is constantly changing and being updated, therefore we reserve the right to make these changes without warning or notice. This content includes terms and conditions, promotions and exclusive offers, product information and page content and temporary or permanent closure of the website. If you have any queries regarding these changes or previous content, please contact our team.
  • All images are purely the closest representation of the finished product. As a result, the product may not look exactly the same as the image. If you have any queries or concerns, please feel free to contact our team.
  • It is difficult to determine an exact weight for every single ring, as each ring is unique. The weights stated on the product pages are the best possible approximations we have to offer. This being said, we aim to keep rings within an appropriate tolerance, and things like engraving or added features should also be taken into consideration.
  • All Platinum, Palladium, Gold and Silver rings are hallmarked, as required by UK law.
  • All of our prices are displayed clearly and we promise that there are no hidden charges. Through placing an order with us online you are agreeing to pay the displayed price, however in the result of human error or technical difficulties we reserve the right to return full payment and cancel the order.
  • In some circumstances (such as high value items or unusual activity) we may contact you in regards to your order before the manufacturing process to discuss your order and ensure all details are correct. We take this conversation as evidence that your order is accurate and will not be returned. In these circumstances we reserve the right to refund where we believe is appropriate.
  • For privacy and security reasons, we will only discuss an order with the customer who placed it.
  • For health and hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty or have a manufacturing defect. Prong tightening and cleaning of earrings are some of the services offered in our Orla James Promise.
  • We can provide valuation of your rings for insurance purposes, this will help protect your ring against damage that may not be covered in our promise.
  • All of our sales are governed by UK law.
  • All UK consumers who purchase from us are protected by their statutory rights.
